TRENDING: ANIMAL PRINTS

During induction week at University I visited Liverpool with other FMC students to develop a series of images showcasing stylish people, shop window displays and cool reference material around the city. Using this research we worked in groups to develop three trend boards, I focused on textile print influences.

Animal inspired fashion is well and truly the trend for AW18 and I can't say I'm angry about it, from leopard print faux-fur jackets, to subtle print booties and snakeskin accessories, literally anyone can tap into this trend (my cat beat me to it of course - now that I'm pretty angry about) making it one of the most wild, but still VERY wearable trends of the season.

This bold and Oh-So Chic! trend has been taken off the NYFW runway and straight into the windows of everyones favourite high-street retailers.
