MAGIC MIRROR OR BLACK MIRROR?

This week at University we've been looking at technology advances in retail, and I'm not going to lie some of it sounds very Black Mirror. 


Magic mirrors are being used by big retailers within the shopping room floor. Interactive fitting rooms automatically recognise products which sync up to available inventory in the store. Customers can simply request different sizes or styles from the interactive mirror. The mirror image can also be photographed or recorded in 360-degree views so that it can be sent to friends via social media. Now, this all sounds pretty dreamy but you've got to ask could these smart mirrors lead to data tracking?!
